Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden
Description
Open daily 10 a.m.-7 p.m., April 1-Sept. 30, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Oct.1-31. Closed November-March. $4 adults, kids 11 and younger are free. Last tickets are sold 30 minutes before posted close time. The oldest attraction at the Springfield Botanical Gardens, the 7.5-acre Mizumoto Japanese Stroll garden was built in 1985 and includes a koi lake, moon bridge, meditation garden, tea house, traditional Japanese garden landscaping and a 7-ton Alaskan Jade stone. The garden is home to the Springfield Sister Cities Association's Japanese Fall Festival.

Gardens are maintained by the Friends of the Garden and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. Gardens are supported by the Springfield Sister Cities Association.
