OSU Extension Services is hiring: The OSU Extension Nutrition Education Program is hiring a new educator to work with our team. We are seeking an individual with a passion for community health and education. This position may include teaching to audiences that range from pre-Kindergarten to adults, so adaptability and enthusiasm are key! Our programs are designed to empower the target audience to establish healthy eating habits and physically active lifestyles through learner-centered cooking, nutrition, and activity classes. The Nutrition Education Program is federally-funded and targets families with young children and SNAP-eligible audiences. This is a classified, .45 FTE position (approx. 18 hours/week) based at our Eugene office. The job will be posted until February 4th with a start date in the late winter.
