Baxter Shout Outs! (1/8/18)

Did your child get their flu shot? If not, here is another chance. Attention Parents/Guardians of OHCHS & OHMS students! This is a reminder that the School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is offering flu shots to high school and middle school students. This service is offered at no cost. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recently announced that the number of cases of influenza is rising dramatically. Although this vaccine is not a perfect match, the CDC reports that the vaccine will still decrease the severity of symptoms. If you would like your son/daughter to receive a flu shot at the SBHC, please have them pick up a consent form in their school’s Health Office or complete the attached consent form. Once the completed consent form is returned, the SBHC staff will set up a time for your son/daughter to receive their shot. Only students who are NOT enrolled need to fill out the SBHC enrollment form. If you have questions, please call the SBHC at 744-0322.
