Our Emergency Road Repair contractor will be working at the following locations removing concrete caps and topping with asphalt: Solon Road - at #30865 where the road was closed last March - Tomorrow the contractor will be removing the concrete cat and replacing it with 2" of asphalt while maintaining two way traffic with flaggers. This repair should be completed the same day. Aurora Road - east of Liberty at #37125, the contractor will be removing the concrete cap today and topping with asphalt tomorrow while maintaining two way traffic with flaggers. Medhurst Ave. - at the corner of Woodall the concrete cap will be removed today and topped with asphalt. Liberty Road - southbound at Spicebush - tomorrow a deteriorated asphalt patch will be milled out and replaced with a new asphalt surface course the same day while maintaining two way traffic with flaggers. All repairs are expected to be complete by the end of the day tomorrow.

Beginning today our Emergency Road Repair contractor Tri Mor will be removing 4 concrete patches on Liberty Road between Landings Drive and Liberty at Bainbridge Road

Cochran Road Reconstruction Phase II will be beginning on Saturday, July 15, 2017 with the General Contractor being Tri-Mor Corporation. This project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 1,825 linear feet of Cochran Road from the Southerly Limits of the City of Solon to Solon Industrial Parkway. Project improvements include new concrete pavement and curb, storm sewer replacement, pavement markings, sidewalk replacement and the replacement of ADA curb ramps. The first phase of work will begin on July 15, 2017. Cochran Road between South Corporation Line and Solon Industrial Parkway will be reduced from four (4) lanes to two (2) lanes. All traffic will be shifted to the East side of the road to allow work to be performed on the southbound lanes. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times on the East side of the road. You will receive notification when traffic will be moved to the other side of the road. Access to all side street drives and aprons will be maintained throughout the course of construction.

Illuminating Company - Aerial Tree Trimming Aerial Tree Trimming The Illuminating Company will be performing aerial tree trimming along the power lines that exist within the City of Solon.
