Description
SporTran operates 50 buses equipped to handle passengers in Shreveport and Bossier City. Today, SporTran sports a fleet of over 50 modern buses equipped to handle all passengers, including those with disabilities. Our buses are equipped with the latest emission reduction systems and include dual-fuel (Hybrid) buses, and our newest buses are powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
LiftLine Is SporTran's Demand-Responsive Paratansit Service, a van service that is specially equipped with wheelchair lifts/ramps and other accessibility features that allow maximum mobility for customers with disabilities that are unable to use SporTran's Fixed Route buses because of their disabilities. Our newest vans are also powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

SporTran will suspend Transit services again on Wednesday and reevaluate road conditions to determine when to resume services. City Officials made the decision this afternoon following updated reports from the National Weather Service of a hard freeze warning for Wednesday and possible snow and ice will accumulate on roadways, bridges, and overpasses.
