Getting a lot of feedback that people have been told we have closed because my grandfather, Bob Benton, passed. Just wanted to let everyone know that is NOT true, and we are open normal hours 10 to 7. Just to clarify my mother, Nancy Wright, took over the cafe 20+ years ago. We miss grandpa greatly but it's business as usual. Thanks and hope to see you soon.

Words cannot describe how much we'll miss him. Grandpa at the counter is the image that sticks in my mind but being 7 and him explaining the potatoes can't have skin on them is a close second. We will work hard at continuing his legacy.

The funeral for Bob Benton will be at Sharon Baptist Church Wednesday, July 12th at 2pm. Thank you for your kind words and prayers during this difficult time.

Because of the passing of our father and grandfather, Bob Benton, we will be closed until Monday, July 17th. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Tonight is the 3rd Friday and there's a LOT going on downtown including Trail Days. Participating businesses are giving out special cards starting at 5pm Friday. Go to each business, get the card stamped, and when you have a full card return to The Arts at 317 for a possible prize. Participating businesses are Hamburger King The Lunch Box Studio 112 and a half Oklahoma Territory Antiques The Arts@317 Benton's Cafe Also don't forget The Olde Owl Shoppe has a special menu tonight.
