In the year 2000, the Seymour Oktoberfest was nominated by United States Congressman Baron Hill of Seymour, to become a part of the nation’s Local Legacies. Every year, we donate the net proceeds of the 5k to a local charitable organization or community project. This year, we are proud to donate $2,000 to the Crossroads Community Trails - Seymour Indiana organization. This organization is focused on developing walking and biking trails throughout Seymour. Again, we want to give a big thanks to all the walkers and runners that participate in the Seymour Oktoberfest 5k. Your participation helps us make a positive impact on our community, and we look forward to welcoming you back at the 45th Annual Seymour Oktoberfest!
