CUPID SHUFFLE SWEETHEART DANCE Friday, February 19, 2016 6:00pm-8:00pm Bollinger Canyon Elementary MPR Please put on your dancing shoes and join us for a fun filled evening for Daughters and the special Adult sweetheart in their lives. We will have an elegant dance, with Music, dancing games, refreshments and treats as well as photo booth, crafts, and activities. Dress up attire is fun but not required. As a Fundraiser for our Bollinger Canyon Education Fund we are asking a suggested donation of $35 for a couple, and $10 per each additional child in your family. Advance Registration Is required. RSVP by Wednesday, February 17th Registration forms will be sent home with Students

Words Matter Week (February 1-5) focuses on the power that words can have in making other feel good about themselves or how words can bring others down. This is the third year we will be celebrating the week and our hopes is that the ongoing dialogue inspires students, staff, and parents to be mindful of the words they choose in day to day conversations, not only during this week of awareness, but all year long. During this week, Bollinger Elementary will dress up in ways that represent our awareness and solicit some exitement and participation from our students! Monday: Pajama Day - Put name calling to bed - by wearing pajamas to school! Tuesday: "Name Calling is Crazy!" -Come to school dressed crazy! Mix it up! Wednesday: Spirit Day! Wear your Bulldog Blue and Gold and show your Bollinger Spirit! Thursday: "We are United Against Name Calling!" Wear red, white and blue! Friday: "We are all on the same team, so team up against name calling!" Wear your favorite team shirt and/or hat of your choice!
