The San Andreas Trail, between Larkspur Drive and San Bruno Avenue, will continue to be closed for public safety until later next week, including the weekend of December 2-3, for additional pipeline repair and restoration of the trail paving at the repair sites. The trail is scheduled to reopen Friday morning, December 8. Cyclists, please continue to use alternate routes during this time.
The San Andreas Trail from Larkspur Drive to San Bruno Avenue will be closed for pipeline repairs from Wednesday, November 29 through Friday, December 1. Cyclists please use alternate routes Wednesday-Friday. The trail is scheduled to reopen Saturday morning, December 2.

Trail Open Now for Weekday Use The Sawyer Camp Trail southern entrance will reopen for weekday use starting Friday, October 27, at 5 p.m. This is a correction to a notification sent out earlier. It is our understanding that San Mateo County will require another temporary weekday closure for public safety at a future time.
I did not get an update from my usual source but apparently the trail closure has been extended through 11/10. Sorry for late notice. It pays to follow SMC Parks! And don’t forget OPEN WEEKENDS!
CLOSURE -- SOUTH HALF 10/9-10/27 The San Mateo County Parks Department will close the south half of the Sawyer Camp Trail at the Crystal Springs entrances on weekdays from Monday, October 9, through Friday, October 27, for public safety, due to San Mateo County construction activities. The entire trail will be open for public use on the weekends, beginning Friday evening, October 13, through Sunday, October 15, 8 p.m. and Friday evening, October 20, 5 p.m. through Sunday, October 22, 8 p.m. The closure will be in effect from the Crystal Springs entrance to the gate just beyond the Jepson Laurel at the trail’s approximate midpoint. The trail’s north half will be open every day, dawn to dusk, from the entrance at the end of Hillcrest Boulevard to the gate just before the Jepson Laurel.
