STRIDE Academy - Elementary and Middle Schools
Description
STRIDE Academy sprung from a desire to create an individualized learning environment that breaks down barriers and gives all students the tools to learn. This page is set up as a conduit for parents and kids to post photos to, update us all on the events at school (ie: the boys won a basketball game and the score, the girls won volleyball, or the chess club has an event coming up).
All consider giving praise to teachers and administration in a very public way.

Have you heard the saying about giving your child roots and wings? Well here at STRIDE we have our very own Rootes! Alex Rootes, one of our 4th grade teachers. What does Alex think of our school? "I enjoy working at STRIDE Academy and learning from students and their different backgrounds. I enjoy the challenge of connecting with kids so that I can maximize their learning potential and, in the end, by encouraging them to be life long learners."
Every school has a Physical Education Teacher, but we are lucky to have the BEST one, Jason Fleege. What does Mr. Fleege have to say about STRIDE? "I've been at STRIDE for 8 years and have worked with many different staff. The common theme among all of them is having the determination for everyone to succeed: school, staff and students. This work ethic is passed on to the students to create positive daily habits. The other reason I love STRIDE is for the happy and smiling faces I get to see on a daily basis in Phy. Ed. class where I also get to pass on the importance of a strong work ethic to create a lifetime of fun and health."
