Saginaw County Animal Care Center is an open admission shelter. We house up to 30 cats and over 90 dogs. All animals are seen by the vet upon intake if a visible health problem is observed. If any arise after the animal is at the shelter they are taken to the vet. We work with various  rescues and Humane Societies to give animals new possibilities of finding a furrever home. We run a volunteer program and are always looking for new volunteers.

Hours of Operation are:
Monday - 11:00-6:00 pm w/ adoption hours from 11:00-5:30
Tuesday - 11:00-6:00 pm w/ adoption hours from 11:00-5:30

We are hoping for a bright future for SCACC. This building is about better housing and more room for the animals, but it is also for the community of Saginaw. There is a clinic attached to the side that will provide much needed services. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Saginaw’s homeless pets and our community. Conceptual design for SCACC.
