We are the only evening Rotary Club in Sacramento.  Come on by! Wednesdays 5:30 pm, Cafe Bernardo on Capitol and 28th St.  Midtown-Sacramento Rotary was chartered 16 years ago. Consistent with our location in diverse Midtown, we welcome all, seeking comparable diversity in our membership in terms of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious (or nonreligious) views, gender, and other such factors.

Though small, our club has proudly distinguished itself as a service organization:

- All club members are Paul Harris Fellows, most several times over, and one is a Major Donor. Our per capita annual giving to The Rotary Foundation is among the highest in the District.

- We are one of seven clubs which built and maintain Rotary House, a house near the U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, which provides long term housing, free of charge, for a child receiving medical treatment and his or her parent or caregiver.

- We annually donate some 80-100 dictionaries to second graders in a local public school.

- Monthly we do cleanup work on Midtown trees, removing ivy (which eventually will kill the trees).

- In partnership with the Midtown Business Association, we are sponsoring the first of a new program of painted murals in Midtown, to help revitalize the arts and the community.

- We have raised funds for reforestation and other projects in Latin America.

-We have held fundraisers for other Midtown organizations, such as Sacramento's LGBT Imperial Court, and volunteered as a club to assist with events raising money for HIV and AIDS awareness, and other community needs.

- We have sponsored students to Rotary Youth Leadership training, and held speech contests,

- Annually we raise money at our wine bus tour, our duck dinner, City Crush (a wine and food festival), and other events.

Come check us out! Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Cafe Bernardo, on Capitol Avenue at 28th Street in Midtown.
