Early Explorers Preschool
Description
We are an in-home preschool located in the Crocker Ranch Community. This is a place where your child can jump in and explore the learning field! Children learn best through hands-on experiences and even more so when they are learning what they are interested in. Here at Early Explorers we will be exploring with many different materials, allowing your child the hands on experience they need for discovery in the development areas of intelligence, social, emotional, physical and language. Whether it be creating a masterpiece with collage materials, allowing them choices, investigation, experimentation and the chance to take a risk; or it be a science experiment, allowing them to experiment with cause and effect or learning concepts of temperature and classification, your children will be engaged in a learning experience in whatever we do here at Early Explorers.
A look into our day...
We are open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a daily schedule of:
7:30-9:00 Children arrive, parents check parent board for news. Children then participate in stations or free choice
9:00-9:30 Snack, when finished sit at circle and buddy read until everyone is ready for circle
9:30-10:00 Circle Time
10:00-11:30 Stations (Art, Science, Alphabet practice, Math)
11:30-12:00 Clean Up Time (it is important that they learn responsibility, organization and teamwork!)
12:00-12:30 Lunch Time
12:30-12:45 Wash Up and Brush Teeth
12:45-1:15 Outside Time
1:15-3:00 Nap/Quiet Time
(kids that do not nap will work on alphabet and writing practice, reading, one on one time with me, and when they wait to work with me can work on activity bags or free play.)
3:00-3:15 Snack time
3:15-4:30 Stations/Free choice/Outside play
4:30-5:00 Music and Movement
5:00-5:30 Free Choice(Art, Blocks, Cars, Worktime, ETC.)
Morning Snack, Lunch and Afternoon snack is provided and happily serve organic products

I have one of the best jobs watching these preschoolers grow and learn everyday. But one of the hardest parts is saying goodbye after being with these kiddos day after day. Last night we celebrated the graduation of miss Stella. It is so great to see her so prepared and ready for the next step but it is so sad to see her putting on those big girl shoes and going off to kindergarten. I know it's not good bye and there will be visits but it's definitely a shock not seeing this sweet girl everyday! We all love you so so much Stella and we are so very proud of you! Xoxo!

Sweet Stella's last day yesterday 😢 She is going to be a big kindergartener in August! Although she is more than ready for the big kid school, Miss Sammy is not! We will all miss her so so much! We love you Stella!
