We were honored to have Anna K. Davie Elementary School students tour Floyd’s EMS Headquarters on Wednesday. The students, part of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Club, take field trips to the community to help them be well-rounded young men. The club teaches them the importance of good behavior, discipline, structure and education.
If you have a minor injury on Sundays, Floyd Urgent Care in Rockmart will be ready to help beginning in October. Urgent Care will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays beginning Oct. 8.

Looking for a deal? Floyd will host a yard sale Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Harbin Clinic Tony E Warren, MD Cancer Center parking lot on the Floyd Medical Center campus. More than 30 vendors will sell new and slightly used treasures including homemade items, baked goodies and home decor.
