Seaosns and holiday crafts are not just for fun but are fantastic for orienting us all to time and making a connection with loved ones. To know that it is almost spring, or that Christmas has passed etc... is something that most of us take for granted but don't underestimated the value of being orientated to Person, place and time. Our toddlers, people with disabilities and people that are isolated or have dementia need us to send out a card, hang up a decoration or take down out dated decorations. It keeps us on the same page! We have all been toddlers, we all face potential times in life where we are disconnected from the daily calendar. Here's to appreciating what time it is. Doing seasons projects has become a vital part in some of our art classes!
