Description
The Madison County Clerk's Office Mission is to be the most customer focused and cost effective Clerk's Office in the State of Kentucky. The Madison County Clerk's Office has two offices, our main branch in the Madison County Courthouse, Richmond and our Berea Office located in Berea City Hall.
The staff, led under the direction of Clerk Kenny Barger, processes motor vehicle registrations, oversees the voter registration and elections, files documents including deeds, bonds and notaries, marriage applications, hunting and fishing licenses and delinquent property tax.

Did you know you can update your voter registration online using your driver's license? Save time and visit elect.ky.gov to update your information or change your party affiliation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the Clerk's Office at (859) 624-4703 (Option 2).
Happy Birthday, America! The Madison County Clerk's Office wants to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July!! Our office will be closed for the holiday, but will resume normal hours (8:00am-4:30pm) on Wednesday, July 5th.
The Madison County Board of Elections has moved the regularly scheduled meeting for the month of June to Friday June 23, 2017 at 1:00PM in the Madison County Courthouse Fiscal Courtroom. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
