Description
At Block CrossFit, we believe in the inclusive nature of CrossFit community and its power to transform anyone willing to put in the work. Our core belief at Block CrossFit is that CrossFit is a broad, general, and inclusive approach to strength and conditioning. While this describes the type of fitness our athletes achieve, it also describes what we mean by “our athletes”.
We make CrossFit accessible to you whether you’re a collegiate athlete or someone who just wants to get shed some pounds. This is about YOUR goals. The beautiful thing about this approach is that both types of athlete recognize each other’s effort and will often high-five after or even during a workout.
Joe King and Chris Cloes started Block CrossFit in a backyard in Redlands, CA and established it as a fully-fledged CrossFit gym in 2012. Still the original owners, Joe and Chris constantly work to improve the gym. They consistently upgrade the equipment, always keep the gym looking good, regularly schedule fun events (like our weekly BBQ), and make sure they and their trainers have ongoing education.
