Phenomenal 10,000 sqft Art Gallery. Free and open to the public, Detour Gallery features exhibitions, community events, + more. At Detour we believe in breaking barriers of the art world by providing a venue for talented emerging artists. We have an array of art from these rising artists which consists of realistic, abstract, outsider, folk, street art, urban art, pop art, hyper-realistic, photography, etc. The philosophy of this establishment is to celebrate and share the underappreciated diversity among art and artists with the public.
We are driven to develop a cultural dialog, encourage critical thinking, and enhance the day-to-day experience of the community. With murals on the exterior of the building and 10,000 square feet of explorable exhibitions inside, we hope to excite viewers with every visit. We open our doors to share this experience with visitors in hopes of providing them with a new personal understanding of the power of visual art.
Detour Gallery specializes in displaying and selling art from artists who are not afraid to take risks; artists from off the beaten path. Age, race, or reputation have no authority at Detour, only artistic skill. We have a page on Artsy.com and take full advantage of social networks like Instagram and Facebook. Through utilizing social media and digital platforms we can share our hidden talent displayed at Detour across the globe.
