Good afternoon, Beginning tomorrow the South Gate will be closed to all Personal Vehicles for the foreseeable future. Although it's inconvenient for us golfers, the reason is good. In an effort to help those who fell victim to Hurricane Harvey, FEMA has been given access to the base through the South Gate so that they can utilize portions of our taxiway for vehicle staging. FEMA trucks will be the only vehicles allowed in and out of the South Gate. Everyone will still have access to the Golf Course via the East Perimeter Road (The road that leads to Eberle Park). If you come through the East Gate you'll make an immediate left after the gate and follow that road (East Perimeter Rd.) all the way to the Golf Course. If you enter through the Main Gate then you'll take a left at the first chance you get after entering the base. You'll then make another immediate left so that you're driving back towards the front of the base and you'll just stay on that path across 5th Street East and onto East Perimeter Road which leads to the Golf Course. You will NOT be able to access the Golf Course from the West Perimeter Road (The one that leads to the High School). We are unsure at this point how long this will be in place. Due to Hurricane Harvey Randolph Oaks GC will be closed tomorrow (8-26-17). We will make a decision tomorrow whether to open Sunday but, at this point, it's not looking likely. Please be careful this weekend!

Mulligans Grill is now open. Daily lunch specials will resume Thursday but until then all other menu items are available.

Randolph Oaks is getting a good flushing rain this morning!

This tractor attachment is called the Unirake. We'll be running it across all of our fairways next week as it's highly effective at removing grain and thatch. We tested it on hole #11 today and as you can see, the fairway mower cleans it up nicely.

Don't forget to sign up for this years JBSA Classic. The deadline is this Thursday. It's a 2 person team event that begins this Saturday. Round 1 = scramble at Randolph Oaks on Saturday. Round 2 = modified alternate shot at Fort Sam on Sunday. Round 3 = best ball at Lackland on Monday. You can sign up at any JBSA golf course.

Two LPGA pros will be at Randolph Oaks this Saturday April 22nd giving a free clinic on the driving range from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and on the course from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It's a great opportunity to receive help with your game from touring professionals! Anyone can join us so come out and enjoy.
