Another summer has come and gone- what was your favorite part? From crazy activities to hosting 9 Baptisms in our new pool, to a BBQ feeding 500 for our District Camp Meeting- it was a busy one for sure! Pinerock is a beautiful place to make friends, or to relax and enjoy the serenity the big Ponderosa Pines have to offer!

We are thrilled with the addition our new pool and the joy it is providing to our campers this summer! We are awed by how God has used it with 17 baptisms in the last two weeks! Great things are happening at Pinerock!!!

Renovations, repairs, cleaning & landscaping are all necessary as we prepare for our busy summer season. In April during our 2nd Annual Servants Week, “many hands make light work” was totally visible at Pinerock. With a gathering of volunteers and staff, much was accomplished!

So, April Fools seems to have come a day early for all of us here at Pinerock! Who said it was Spring? It's OBVIOUSLY still Winter! Please keep warm and enjoy this beautiful surprise the Lord has given us. All too soon we will be past the days of snuggling up near a fire with our loved ones, sipping on a hot cup of chocolate/coffee, replaced with the activity and craziness of Summer. Cherish this time together and don't feel down- the heat is coming, we promise!

If you have a servant’s heart and don’t mind hard work, then come join us and volunteer during Servants Week! You will work alongside our full-time staff to prepare the camp for Summer. The dates are April 24-27 and include free housing, great meals for a small donation, and plenty of work to keep you busy and maybe even tire you out by the day’s end. In addition to hard workers who can help repair, landscape, clean, and organize, we’re looking for those with special skills that we might plug into projects in their areas of expertise (i.e. painting, carpentry, etc.). Not a problem if you cannot stay for more than a day or two, just let us know! We can still use your help. Please call the office at 928.445.8357 to register by April 20, 2017 if you can partner with us.

The Pinenuts had a great time bowling this month in a St Patty’s day theme! Matt was our winner this time, and we can’t wait to see what he does to the trophy. Please enjoy some pictures of the beautiful weather we have been blessed with, and the pool that is coming along nicely!

We finished the plumbing, and got the shotcrete poured! Now we wait for it to dry, and add the electric, plaster, deck, and tile, so stay tuned! The staff had another fun bowling night, this one was Star Treck/ Space themed! Check out some of the outfits in the pictures below! As winter comes to an end we are finishing up some big projects and preparing for the business of summer.

For those who haven’t heard our Activities Director, Lauren, has been busy redoing the climbing wall. Fresh paint, different routes, and a whole new feel to it! Come try it!!!

We had a lot of fun staff activities and events in December along with hosting several guest groups. From our annual Christmas party to Ugly Sweater Bowling, Pinerock is blessed with amazing staff and volunteers! We even got snow on Christmas Eve! With appearances from: TJ, Travis, Nick, Matt, Mike S, Steve, Nancy, Danial, Cassidy, Wendy, Sari, Mike K, Cindy, Georgette, Sam, Daniel, Brad, Tracie, Lexi, Robert, Cyndy, Jim, Lauren, Tim, Judi, Evelyn, Ryan, Melissa, Mark, TJ, Brittany, and Royce!
