Artisan Food and Craft Beers Maxfields continues its fine tradition of providing a great atmosphere and unique menu served in one of Potsdam’s historic sandstone buildings. From the moment you enter and experience the beautifully restored interior which includes the original sandstone walls, high ceilings and antique mahogany bar, you’ll know superior dining awaits. Maxfield’s contemporary menu features such items as fresh pasta, creative seafood selections and grilled steaks. Maxfield’s is famous for its large house salad with secret dressing. A perennial pleasure at Maxfield’s is dining al fresco on the flower-laden riverside deck for local residents and those from afar. For intimate dining, corporate meetings or a casual cocktail, let Maxfield’s make it a memorable occasion. Hours are 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays
