For those attending Saturday's celebration for Rose, there will be a memory box for you to fill with your photos and memories of Rosemarie. If you're looking to bring something to share, bring a photo or write a story for the memory box, which will be given to Bob, Marisa and Rob to cherish down the road. See you all the Chatham VFW on Sat. 4/20 from 1-4pm. 🌹❤️
Please join us in celebrating the life of our beautiful friend Rosemarie Denn...
One week ago our fishing community lost one of the most special lights in our corner of the fishing world. Rosemarie Denn. We learned that Rosemarie had been quietly fighting scleroderma (an autoimmune disease) for over a decade. Our hearts broke when we heard of Rosemarie's passing last week, on March 26th. She was a woman of so many creative talents and skills that we have admired for years but the girls of WOFF wanted to share what she meant to our small group. To know Rose was to know laughter, smiles, generosity, creativity, and love. She was never far from her wonderful husband and sidekick of 45 years - Bob Denn. They made a perfect match together. They owned Cape Fishermen's Supply for over 30 years, guided and supported fishermen and their families on Cape Cod and beyond. Rose was a founding member of Nereids - a group of women that guided the way of supporting fishermen and offering scholarships to local fishing families. WOFF has been grateful to follow in their strong footsteps in our mission today. We feel incredibly honored to have known Rosemarie, to partner with her and to collaborate together in supporting fishing families. We will continue to feel her spirit and love as we move forward with our mission in the days, weeks, and years to come. Thank you, Rosemarie, for being such a wonderful example of strength and courage and for setting the bar so high. We promise to continue to reach for that bar and to continue the incredible work you began. With love, warmth, and smiles - The WOFF girls
