Hello Whippet Friends: A fund has been started to help a whippet who survived a tragic wreck where his humans and whippet son were killed. Sully's injuries include concerning blood values that may indicate internal organ injuries and is losing protein and has low level albumin levels. He has soft tissue and muscle damage. He visits the vet and acupuncture frequently for rehab. Any amount is greatly appreciated and any excess will remain in the Whippets Pay It Forward Account to help other whippets. Here's To Team Effort! A friend in Arkansas forwarded an internet post from an Idaho Rescue Group to The Whippet Spaw in Oregon on December 30th. The whippet boy was only 11 weeks old! After sharing the post, he garnered a vast interest. He is a very lucky boy to have been adopted by a fabulous, well trained by whippets family in Morgan, Utah. He joins former rescue whippets Ace and Tia in a very loving home. Although they have not re-named him yet, surely a suitable name will surface soon. This sweetie will be 16 weeks on February 7th. Welcome to your new life little guy. You are a very lucky boy! The Whippet Spaw loves happy endings! rOo rOo rOo **And big kudos to the Paws 4 Hope Animal Rescue in Jackson, Idaho for taking this pup in and recognizing an excellent whippet home.
