Photographer Don Mc Ghee grew up in rural St. Clair County. He has been captivated by music for much of his life, and for the past 15 years he has sought to capture the many faces of music with his camera, the Blues in particular. He believes that music is not only for the ear, the heart and the soul – for him music is also for the eye! This exhibit presents a few of the thousands of images he has taken throughout Michigan and much of the eastern United States, including the Blues music-rich Mississippi Delta. And there is more – images of other subjects he has encountered during his musical journeys.
