Family Services Alliance of SE Idaho offers FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Our 24 hour crisis line is available ANYTIME day or night at 251-HELP (4357). Make a difference for yourself and your community, become a crisis line volunteer! Could you answer the calls for help? Are you the person your family and friends turn to when they need to talk? Are you interested in becoming a first responder to offer support to victims of violence? Can you listen to someone and empathize with them without passing judgment? If you answered yes to these questions, then FSA needs you. Family Services Alliance will be hosting a four night volunteer training in January. Now Hiring !!! Are you ready to join the movement to end violence? Please help us to find the perfect, caring, compassionate individual that has a passion for helping survivors of violence and wants to make a difference. Family Services Alliance is currently hiring for an advocacy position in our Pocatello office. The qualified individual will be skilled in providing supportive individual advocacy along with employing the ability to work with community partners. This individual will provide onsite court advocacy, emergency shelter, case management, on call duties and other advocacy services including onsite crisis intervention in conjunction with law enforcement. Bachelor's Degree in Helping Profession preferred; but willing to train the right person. Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation. Preference given to bilingual candidates.
