October 2016 Professor Mike "Bull" Harris had his final Seminar at Republic Martial Arts Academy - Owned and Operated by Aaron Loudermill, and Alexandra Loudermill. It was fitting that this Seminar was at their Location because it was formally Professor Mike "Bull" Harris' School. I was honored that Professor Harris tapped me to teach the Seminar that day, what none of knew that day was it was to be the end of an era. After the Seminar Professor Harris took all the Affiliate school Instructors into a private meeting where he announced his retirement from BJJ, not just teaching, competing, but also shutting down his Affiliations. A long list of Injuries, surgeries to follow and recovery. Not to mention a new family full of opportunities to influence and be more involved in his young kids lives. We took the news hard, but understood and supported his decision. We thought we would take a year and see what direction we would go. I tend to always want a plan of action, just my nature, but I was willing to wait for the right opportunity. Speaking with a friend, John Hubbard - Martial Arts America. He told me about GFteam and said that Professor Roli Delgado was part of GFteam and that he was under Professor Delgado. Inspired because I know Professor Delgado and trained with him at a Seminar with Master Renato Tavares Bjj. After a conversation with Professor Roli Delagado, I felt the great vibe, and mutual understanding and direction for what I was looking for to help me become better, to become a better Instructor, and to help my students be better practitioners of BJJ. Today Emil Iverson III and I are proud to announce our Affiliation with Professor Rolando "Roli" Delgado, Westside MMA, GFteam. This is a great opportunity and one that could not be passed up. Professor Harris and Professor Delgado spoke and I spoke with Professor Harris today and received nothing but his support and that he was glad Emil and I are going under Professor Delgado. I also received Professor Rick Koenig's support. I will post some information on Professor Delgado and GFteam, so everyone can see what a great opportunity this is. Keep on rollin'

I know we planned to roll Saturday Morning, sorry, sometimes I overbook myself. I have a Sheriff's Office meeting at 8am Saturday Morning. So no early bird special - Sorry everyone.

9:00 am Morning Class is CANCELLED due to unforeseen circumstances involving me and the White River and a Boat throwing lines into the water in hopes of catching unsuspecting aquatic species of fish.
