In the past few days we recited the Shehecheyanu prayer so many times with our Religious School and Gesher students! Both schools ate matzah, read from the Haggadah and recited the Manishtanah for the very first time in the year! From a Passover Maze to a Passover Mock Seder we truly got into the Passover mood! Hanna Stockel a friend of some of the members of KAFTY (Our High School Youth Group) has put together a drive to collect school supplies for students at Stoneman Douglas who had to leave every school supply they had in the school as escaped. KAFTY is helping Hanna collect supplies and you can bring any donations of Pencils, paper, notebooks, backpacks etc to the Temple and we will get them to Hanna to donate. As part of our OMGJK weekend in Atlanta 22 of our 7-8th graders got the chance to meet with Christine King Farris the sister of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This weekend members of our 7th and 8th grade OMGJK program are in Atlanta bonding and learning about Civil Rights! Last night they welcomed Shabbat at The Temple, a historic congregation in Downtown Atlanta.
