She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Paris, KY and the former owner/operator of Oliver Grocery. She is survived by two children, Constance Nutter and William Lee (Beverly) Washington; one stepson, William Cecil Oliver; four grandchildren, Dr. Marilyn Nutter, Ronald Washington, Maria Robinson and Lance Penney; eight great grandchildren, Alexa Comissiong, Devyn Blakley, Jayda Washington, Alanna Washington, Isiaha Washington, Keiandra Washington, Darrius Mitchell and Carolyn Mitchell; one sister, Josephine Lee and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Stanhope Moore, William Washington and Eddie Oliver; a son, Stanhope Moore, Jr.; two grandsons, Orville Nutter, Jr and Dexter; six sisters, Anna Vanhook Wright, Viola Spencer, Sarah McGuffey, Aletia Groves, Stella Young and Hattie Groves; two brothers, Braxton Howard and Edward Groves. Carolyn Mae Reed Tillery, 73, wife of Robert G. Tillery, died Tuesday May 30, 2017 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY. A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late Carl Lewis and Betty Mitchell Reed. She was the former owner of Dillon Tax Service in Paris, a member of the Apostolic Community Church in Flemingsburg and was the yard sale queen of Paris. In addition to her husband she is survived by four children, Jerry Lee (Shelly) Tillery, Robert (Heather) Tillery, Dennis “Louie” Tillery and Robin J. (Ron) Murphy; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Larry D. (Kim) Reed and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 PM Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home 1120 Main St.,Paris by Bro. David Rogers. Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday June 2, 2017 at the funeral home. Marvin Ferguson, 76, husband of Donna Kay White Ferguson, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his home. A native of Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Wilburn Ferguson and Virginia Clem Shepherd. He was retired from Central State Management in Lexington, KY where he did property maintenance. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of Silas Baptist Church and loved woodworking and gardening. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Marla Moffett and John Travis (Wilma) Ferguson; two grandchildren, Brandon Ferguson and Kaylee Moffett; three sisters, Pat Tirey, Mitzi (Stephen) Hosfeld and Lorli (Terry) Connor and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Ferguson. Funeral services are private. Pallbearers will be David Smith, Coty Puckett, Jerry White II, Steve Hosfeld, Chris Wiley and Hogan Ward.
