Okay I will have pictures to post but I just have to say and acknowledge that the VFW Post 2488 Christmas Party for our Veterans was the best by far. I want to thank Post Aux Sarasota for their support. I forgot about XXLG clothing and they came thru. Thank you to Post 9226 for their clothes donation they were decimated in the store. Thank you to VFW Aux 10141 for your donation also consumed at a rapid rate. Big shout out to the Cooties who not only made a donation to VFW Aux 2488 but also to Bay Pines Hospital in a moving speech. Thank you Bob Greene of the MOCS for everything you do. Thank you to everyone who brought any donation but also the cookies that went into the special bags. Thanks to all of my Volunteers who turned out to make this Christmas Party the best ever. There is a not space to thank everyone but most especially Karen, Ray, Joyce, Bobbie, Helen, Eddie, Barbara, Colleen, Harold, John and Lori, Mr & Mrs. Santa Claus - the Skippers, Polly, Pat, Shirley and our WWII girls and everyone I forgot to thank. Our Veterans from Bay Pines Hospital went homed stuffed to the gills in not only food and gifts but love. A great day. Lots of work but so worth it to see them smile and feel well loved. A Great day. This is why we honor our service men and women not just now but all year long. They so deserve everything we can give them for giving us the Freedom to live in this great country!
