Collecting items for the flood buckets being sent to Texas. It's not too late to bring supplies to Igert Hall. First Pres, some 12 Oaks members and our Broadway family have really stepped up to be a blessing to our neighbors. See you at five if you are helping to pack the buckets. We will also pray over the buckets together.

In response to recent flooding in Texas, we are challenging ourselves to fill 50 Cleaning Kits! Along with prayer, please see the instructions below for items to collect. We will also be collecting monetary donations to purchase additional items for the kits. Deadline to bring items and any monetary assistance to the church: Wednesday, September 6th at 3p.m. Join us to pack the kits at 5p.m. on Wednesday, September 6th Cleaning Kits We ask that you bring two of the following items (*If your last name starts with…) *A-C 5 gallon bucket with resealable lid (Buckets from fast food restaurants or bakeries can be used if washed and cleaned. Do not use buckets that have stored chemicals such as paint or pool cleaner. Advertisements on the outside are acceptable.) *D-F Liquid laundry detergent (two 25 oz. or one 50 oz. bottles only) 1 pair work gloves (cotton with leather palm or all leather) *G-I Liquid household cleaner (12-16 oz. liquid cleaner that can be mixed with water--no spray cleaners) Dish soap (16-28 oz bottle, any brand) *J-L 50 clothes pins Clothes line (two 50 ft. or one 100 ft.; cotton or plastic.) 5 scouring pads (remove from wrapper, no stainless steel, Brillo pads or SOS pads; nothing with soap built in) 1 scrub brush (plastic or wooden handle) *M-P 7 sponges (No cellulose sponges due to mold issues; remove from wrapper) 2 pair kitchen dishwashing gloves (Should be durable enough for multiple uses; remove from packaging) *Q-R 1 can air freshener (aerosol or pump) 1 insect repellant spray (6-14 oz. aerosol or spray pump with protective cover) *S-T 24 roll of heavy duty trash bags (33-45 gallon sizes, remove from the box) *U-Z 18 cleaning wipes (Handi-wipes or reusable wipes; no terry cleaning towels; remove from packaging) 5 dust masks Important Notes All items must be new except for the actual bucket and lid. All cleaning agents must be liquid and in plastic containers. No powders please. If you cannot find the requested size of a liquid item, use a smaller size. Including larger sizes of any item will prevent the lid from sealing.
