Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is April 8th at the Oxford Conference Center parking lot, but you still have this weekend to get that garage cleaned out before then! Take advantage of this once a year opportunity to get rid of items you might have on this list.
OUT's spring break bus schedule, for March 13 - 17: The Red and Blue lines will run from 6:00am- 6:30pm Monday Thru Friday. Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:55pm Green Line: Starting at Falkner Flat 7:00 am till 6:30 pm every 30 minutes Mon - Friday. Yellow Line: Starting at Lafayette Place at 7:00 am till 6:30 pm every 30 Minutes Mon-Friday. Yellow Express Will run 7:00 to 6:30 Every 10 minutes Monday – Friday. Purple Line Run from 9:00am to 5:00 Saturdays, Once every hour. The Gold, Brown, Orange, Lyceum Gray and the Silver lines will not run during Spring Break.
The traffic signal at the new intersection of Molly Barr Road and Price Street (near the Oxford MS Police Department ) has been activated to full red-yellow-green operation. Please use caution in the area as motorists become accustomed to the change.
The signal at the new intersection of Molly Barr Road and Price Street has been activated in the flash mode today (February 27, 2017). During this period, the signal will not be used to manage traffic but will flash yellow on Molly Barr Road and red on Price. While the signal is in flash mode, motorists on Molly Barr Road facing the yellow flashing lights do not have to stop but should proceed with caution. Motorists on Price Street MUST stop and yield to other drivers while the light is flashing red. The signal will be placed in full operation on Wednesday, March1. Please use caution through this area as motorists adjust to the new traffic control pattern.
