Break a serious sweat, release some toxins, and get ready for a total mind/body/soul experience in a hot yoga setting. Beautiful zen-like studio also offers Barre classes and Massage Services.
Hot yoga is performed between 85-100 degrees, so bring a towel with you! Specifically, we teach Power Vinyasa Yoga styles. The hot setting allows for a deeper stretch and a facilitated calorie burn. Our environment is perfect for all ages and although challenging, anyone can participate. New clients may try us out for 14 days for $20!
Class Descriptions:
SLOW FLOW (SF): Flow through a series of asanas vinyasa style, connecting each movement with the breath. "Vinyasa" in Sanskrit means "connection," or connecting the movement of the body with the flow of the breath. All levels welcome. Typically 1 hour - 1 hour 15 min. Slow flow focuses on lengthy holds (5-10 breaths per pose) and smooth transitions. All levels welcome! Room temp is not hot, typically around 75 degrees.

breath. Intermediate to advanced levels. Typically 1 hour - 1 hour 15 min. Fire flow focuses on faster paced transitions from asana to asana (pose to pose), utilizes pulsing, and encourages calorie burn! Room temp is heated between 85-100 degrees
Deep Stretch: Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with that are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. They are also designed to improve the flow of qi, the subtle energy said in Chinese medicine to run through the meridian pathways of the body. Improved qi flow is hypothesized to improve organ health, immunity, and emotional well-being. A more meditative approach to yoga, Yin aims at cultivating awareness of one's inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality. Classes are NOT HOT.
Power Hour (P): Jammed packed one hour power yoga class. fitness based approach to vinyasa yoga. A vigorous style focused on strength and flexibility that incorporates
functional movements. Each class is totally different and challenging. Be prepared to sweat in this hot yoga class! ALL CLASSES ARE HOT.
Restorative (R): In restorative yoga, props are used to support the body so that you can hold poses for longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. The postures are usually adapted from supine or seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining.

Hypnosis is a state of inner absorption, concentration and focused attention of the subconscious that heightens a subject’s receptivity to suggestion, much like focusing the sun’s rays through a magnifying glass. Hypnosis is completely safe and accepted by progressive medicine and science today as an effective therapy for many conditions. Hypnotherapy makes use of a natural and relaxed state of mind that almost everyone experiences regularly. If you have ever driven a few miles without remembering them, lost yourself in a good movie, became completely absorbed in an interesting book or been taken away by a beautiful performance or sight, you were in a light state of hypnosis. During such moments when the conscious mind is disengaged, the subconscious is much more open and receptive. True Power Barre Teacher Training
True Power Barre is a formulated system fusing a powerful physical workout and an enlightening mind/body experience. A True Power Barre workout combines elements of dynamic ballet-based barre movements, standing Pilates, upper-body strength toning exercises, yogic stretching and focus at a cardio intensive fat-burning pace. Each True Power Barre class closes with centering and a rest period focusing on embracing your true power. True Power Barre was designed by Julie Lindley and Charlotte Fountain. Julie Lindley, dynamic teacher & trainer, came to Oklahoma from The Woodlands, TX. Julie is a former professional entertainer of musical theater and has a strong background in choreography and instruction. Julie has experience teaching in multiple fitness formats including Zumba, Barre Above, PiYo, and Piloxing. Julie recently earned her RYT200 with The Yoga Alliance. Co-creater Charlotte Fountain is the owner and operator of The Melting Spot Yoga Studio in Owasso, OK. Charlotte has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, teaching multiple modalities such as barre, boot-camp, & yoga, as well as personal training professional athletes. Charlotte is a former Nationally-recognized figure competitor. She currently holds a certification in Barre and an E-RYT200, RYT500 with The Yoga Alliance. This 10 hour training will equip you to teach True Power Barre in a safe and effective manner. The training is 2 days, Saturday August 26th 12 pm - 6:30 pm & Sunday August 27th 9 am - 12:30 pm. The course will cover ballet positioning, anatomy of movement & alignment, dynamic and isolated movements, weighted upper body conditioning, stretching with breath, and sequencing of classes. Upon completion of this training, you will be certified to teach the True Power Barre method. Early bird registration is $399 before June 2nd, 2017. After June 2nd, price goes to $449.
