facebook.comMINT AND MORINGA PEA SOUP // This irresistible soup is light, refreshing, and a perfect spring meal. With a hint of mint and the addition of the superfood moringa, this nutritious vegan soup will surely become a family favorite. Time: 25 minutes Serves: 2-3 Ingredients: 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp fresh mint, minced 2 large shallots, diced 2-3 cloves of garlic 1 ¾ cup fresh or frozen peas 1 ½ cups vegetable broth 1 ½ tsp moringa powder Instructions: 1. Heat the olive oil over low heat in a medium pot. 2. Finely shop the mint, shallots, and garlic cloves. Add these ingredients to the pot and cook over low heat until shallots are translucent, about 5 minutes. 3. Add the peas and broth and bring to a simmer. Stir occasionally and allow soup to simmer for about 15 minutes. 4. Add the moringa powder and cook for another 1-2 minutes. 5. Pour soup into your Blendtec blender and blend using the soup option, or blend on medium high for approximately 30 seconds, or until smooth. 6. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil on top. Moringa is a powerful antioxidant, which contains various vitamins, minerals, and protein. It is also an anti-inflammatory food, and it boosts the immune system.

CINNAMON HONEY BUTTER \\ Add a little sweetness to your bread, rolls, waffles or pancakes with this delicious spread. 1 cup butter, softened ½ cup honey 1½ tsp ground cinnamon ½ cup powdered sugar 1. Add all ingredients to Twister jar in order listed, and place Twister lid on jar. Blend on a Low speed for 5–7 seconds while turning Twister lid counter-clockwise. 2. Store butter in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Remove butter from refrigerator and allow to soften before serving. *Note: You can make this in your FourSide or WildSide+ jar but you may need to increase the amount of ingredients and will likely need to stop during blending and scrape the sides back down to the blade.
EGGNOG FRENCH TOAST \\ Your family will love this breakfast full of holiday flavors! Garnish with chopped pieces of candy cane for an added twist. 6 eggs 8 fl oz eggnog ¼ tsp ground nutmeg 1 loaf Texas toast 1. Add eggs, egg nog, and nutmeg to FourSide or WildSide+ jar and secure lid. “Pulse” 5-7 times. Pour egg mixture into pie plate. 2. Grease griddle or other pan. 3. Dip one slice of Texas toast into egg mixture, and then flip slice to coat other side. Place slice on griddle over medium- to medium-high heat, and cook approximately 3 minutes or until underside is golden brown. Flip and cook approximately 1 mintue. Repeat with remaining bread slices. Keep warm in oven at 200°F, loosely wrapped in foil, or serve immediately.
