Jonathan Levin, M.D. has over a decade of experience in using the best techniques to relieve neck or low back pain. Dr. Levin is a fellowship-trained pain management physician who has devoted his entire medical practice over the past 12 years to pain management in New York City. He has built a highly-regarded pain practice in mid-town Manhattan where he has treated thousands of patients with the latest and most effective techniques. He has now returned to the Washington, D.C. area, where he was born and raised, to continue providing outstanding pain management care. Dr. Levin is recognized for his use of innovative non-surgical techniques to treat a variety of neck, back, and other extremity pain conditions. He is highly experienced in both traditional and alternative procedures to best tailor treatments to his patient's needs.
He is skilled in performing a range of cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic treatments to provide patients with the help they need to alleviate their pain. Some of these procedures include cervical, lumbar and caudal epidurals, transforaminal epidurals, facet radiofrequency lesioning, sacroiliac joint injections, hip injections, spinal-cord stimulation, and intra-discal techniques. He is also skilled in PRP, prolotherapy, dry needling, trigger point injections, and stem cell therapeutics.
After graduating from Haverford College, Dr. Levin earned his medical degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine in Baltimore. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the John Hopkins School of Medicine/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Dr. Levin completed his fellowship in interventional pain medicine at Integrated Pain Management Medical Group in Northern California.
