Today, Ms. Finley and Ms. Johnson combined their English classes for a day of summer reading speed dating. Students spent three minutes as partners sharing what they learned from their summer reading books. What a cool and creative way to discuss what they read and learned! #casadycommunity

Tradition is an important component to the life of a school like Casady. One of our most beloved traditions is our Middle Division House System, and today, the House Sorting Ceremony took place! New MD and rising MD students were placed into Martin, Kelly, Taber, and Woolsey Houses, and these houses compete against each other throughout the year for recognition and special privileges. Our House System is a fun way to unite the MD community in unpredictable and sometimes outrageous ways. Congratulations on your houses, students! #casadycommunity

Here’s some of our Lower Division students learning some moves in music class. Today, their “Mystery Musician” was Johann Sebastian Bach. They played a game, danced, and even sang some lines in Spanish! We love seeing the joy that is brought to our students through music. #casadycommunity

Some of our Primary Division students were enjoying their sensorial areas today. Sensorial areas help children better understand their environment, and make their own experiences in that environment. These activities are helping our students learn critical and lifelong skills in some fun ways. We love seeing firsthand the joy that comes with learning! #casadycommunity
