Glad our church can be a very literal "shelter from the storm." South Ridge Reformed Church youth group from Kalamazoo is too! These kids have been biking since 8:30am and are enjoying some well deserved tacos

Our church carnival is set for Wednesday, July 26 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. We will have food, games, pony rides, and inflatables. Everything is .25 cents, with the exception of the cake walk, inflatables and pony rides, which are .50 cents! Please share this with your friends and neighbors...we'll see you all soon!

VBS will be July 16-20 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with an optional dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Our theme this year is SonWest Roundup: A Rip-Roaring Good Time with Jesus. VBS is for kids age 4 - entering 5th grade. We hope to see you as we learn about Jesus!

A little reminder and information about the Kids Hope Giving Tree. Now through August 13th. 1. Take a heart(s) 2. Add up the numbers you chose (that is the monetary amount you are committing to giving) 3. Grab a Kids Hope Giving Envelope (located in a basket on the chalkboard) 4. Place your heart (s) and money in the envelope and place it in the offering plate. If you plan on writing a check please make checks out to: Unity Reformed Church Thank you for helping support Kids Hope and the staff of Churchill Elementary School.

We’re looking to put together a team from Unity to enter the Hey 5K Run/Walk. It is located in Downtown Muskegon and is same weekend as Unity Fest on Saturday, August 12th at 8am. We need a minimum of 10 people to sign up in order to get the group rate of $15 per person. If you are interested in running or walking, please find the entry form located at the Welcome Center in the Narthex of Unity Reformed Church, fill it out and return it to Dan DeVries with the payment of $15 made out to Unity Reformed Church by Sunday, July 23rd (One entry form is required to be filled out for each person that is entering the run/walk).There is also a sign-up sheet that you would need to put your name, email & phone number onto so that we can keep track of how many people are planning to enter. Following the 5K Run/Walk, there is a friendly competition versus local churches. The church who demonstrates the most “enthusiasm” wins the Traveling Microphone Trophy and the bragging rights as the most energetic church.
