Those Shamrock Shakes got NOTHIN' on us! Who wants a chocolate cherry shot in a chocolate shot cup?!? Stop in, we'll have them all weekend, while they last! There is a nominal fee, but SO worth it!!!
I know there will be haters out there, but I just have to say that I REALLY wish it would snow. This weather is making me crazy. It's SO ugly out there. If it can't be 80 degrees, then let it be a winter wonderland with that pretty white stuff covering the ugly dead grass and mud. I am SO THANKFUL that there is wine in this world, as it really helps get me through these winter doldrums..... Of course, I would enjoy it so more while sitting by the fireplace, watching pretty snowflakes falling outside.... If I drink enough, I bet I'll see snowflakes! Perhaps I'll give that a try...

Good Monday morning all ~ I was just reading a recent fb review of our little place here on Washington Street and wanted to pass along a comment... The review was very favorable for us, although the writer's one complaint is that each time she finds a red wine she likes, we discontinue it. I want to apologize to Debbie for her frustration, and thank her for writing the review. To shed some light on this topic, in the case of our full-bodied, traditional red wines we rarely CHOOSE to discontinue them. Believe me when I say that those Limited Edition reds are always great sellers and if we COULD make them continually, WE WOULD. Here at W.S.W.H., we make certain grape varieties that we (try to) keep on the shelf all the time and then we are offered Limited Edition varieties once a year in which we have to plan in advance for. It is nice to have these options for something new and different to offer, as we are ALWAYS asked, "What's new since the last time I was here?". And herein lies the problem..... How can we offer "new and different" when, without fail, they are always SOMEONE'S favorite and we can't possibly make ALL of them FOREVER..... So this is our struggle and though it is frustrating for you as our very valued customer, it is dually frustrating for us as we'd LOVE to keep selling it to you! I hope that you can understand, at least a little, how it is from our perspective and that we strive to do whatever we can to make you all happy! Hoping you all had a safe and festive weekend.... just 4 more days until the work week is done and just 6 more until Super Bowl. Don't forget your wine.... in case you haven't heard, it pairs really well with those spicy Buffalo Wings... really... no joke ... It's all the rage!!!!!!!!!!
