Have you been looking for a place to volunteer or know someone who is interested? Next week we are holding a Learning Workshop for our Literacy Volunteer Tutors! Join us on Thursday, May 18th, from 4-5pm in the Learning Lab to find out more about this amazing program! Our conversational partner program provides free instruction for adult students who want to work to improve their skill in speaking English. We pair students with tutors for weekly conversational sessions. No teaching or foreign language experience necessary -- just a desire to help someone with the English language, beginning with conversation. Tutors commit one or two hours a week to the program. training, materials, support and space are provided. Pre-registration is not necessary.
