Choose from front row seats at graduation to becoming a firefighter for a day or getting an inside tour of a police department and meals with a favorite teacher. Online auction closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 18. The Fremont Education Foundation helps support innovative learning at Fremont.

Students at Fremont Elementary have been drumming for exercise. Like aerobic exercise, drumming increases heart rate and blood flow. Healthy Minds Teacher Lori Northup secured a grant with the Fremont Education Education for exercise balls and drumsticks.

Thanks to the efforts of the Fremont Middle School Student Council 118 pairs of shoes were recycled. The shoes are delivered to SWALCO in Lake County for recycling.

Join Fremont parents during Art & Academic Night to learn about the new Fremont strategy for emergency lockdown procedures known nationally as the A.L.I.C.E. plan. Parents will receive a 15-minute overview of the program at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Elementary School during the Art & Academic Night on Thursday, April 28.
