Saverio's Authentic Pizza Napoletana
Description
We are a family-run, authentic Neapolitan pizza room and owner Saverio is a certified pizzaiolo of the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani.
We serve a variety of pizzas made with imported buffalo mozzarella (Mozzarella di Bufala Campana D.O.P.) and our fresh, home-made mozzarella as well as San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes and other Italian tomatoes. All pizzas use 100% Italian extra-virgin olive oil. All toppings are made fresh daily or imported from Italy, and the pizzas are baked to perfection at 850 degrees in an Acunto wood-burning brick oven from Naples.
We let the dough rise for 24-48 hours like they do in Naples and the result is a very easy-to-digest pizza.
We recommend the Margherita D.O.P. and Mom's pizzas.

Saverio has a new special for the week! La Primavera! Our homemade mozzarella and thinly sliced tomatoes topped with a lightly dressed arugula salad, shaved parmigiano cheese and drizzled with balsamic glaze! This light pizza pairs nicely with our prosciutto topping! Enjoy
We will be selling Poppy flowers for our VFW friend the month of May! Please stop in and make a donation! Thank you ! Today I saw a man selling poppies , stop a lady and asked if he could re-position her poppy. While doing so he told that lady she should wear the poppy on their right side; the red represents the blood of all those who gave their lives, the black represents the mourning of those who didn't have their loved ones return home, and the green leaf represents the grass and crops growing and future prosperity after the war destroyed so much. The leaf should be positioned at 11 o'clock to represent the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, the time that World War One formally ended. He was worried that younger generations wouldn't understand this and his generation wouldn't be around for much longer to teach them. (copy and paste to share just like I did) 🏵️ and we must remember those from our current wars too! This is something I did not know!!!! I copied this from someone else. Saverio had a fun morning with Max and Wilson and local Girl Scout Troop #3632. The kids earned their pizza party badges, all money donated to our FF Tolley collection. Stop in today to make a donation. Great job today kids, it was a pleasure to have you all 🇮🇹🍕
