Mystery solved! (Somewhat) With the help of John Clayton and Arthur Sullivan, we tracked down two paintings by James Aponovich that hung in the lobby of the bank at 1000 Elm Street in the 1970’s. There is a third painting that we’re trying to locate, a rondo that depicts a suburban scene.
