Don't forget the Spring Fling Concert at the Town Green tomorrow, featuring Muddy Hollow and sponsored by Manchester Designer Outlets. Concert starts at 1:00, and ending around 3:00 PM. Bring checkers or chess pieces and try out the new chess/checker tables at the Town Green.
Don't have enough gardening at your house to keep you busy this spring? Volunteers are meeting tomorrow (Saturday) at 10:00 AM to Green Up the front of the Park House. Work includes pruning, edging the beds, weeding and mulching. Volunteers welcomed and encouraged. Bring gloves and any helpful tools (shovel, rake, weeder, edger, etc.). Questions? SOFTBALL RETURNS TO THE REC. PARK The Town of Manchester hosted its first softball game in quite sometime today at the Dana L. Thompson Memorial Park - BBA vs. Black River! Special thanks to our partners Burr and Burton Academy and Manchester Youth Baseball as well as the 2017 Town Meeting, which appropriated $15k from the CIRC Fund for the backstop. The field will be used by BBA, MEMS, Manchester Youth Baseball and adult co-ed softball. Lastly, a very special thanks to Darrin Senecal and Billy Brownlee from Manchester Youth Baseball, who put in countless hours building the clay infield.
Join the Town of Manchester Vermont and the Manchester Designer Outlets for the Town's first Annual Spring Fling Concert, featuring the Muddy Hollow Band. The concert will be held on The Town Green, Saturday April 29th from 1:00-3:00 pm under the newly built covered pavilion. Lana Hauben, the president of Manchester Designer Outlet, commented that “We are happy to sponsor the Spring Fling Concert to celebrate Spring in beautiful, Manchester, Vermont. We look forward to see folks dancing and children laughing, enjoying our wonderful town.” Celebrate Spring and the Manchester Community and join us for the First Annual Spring Fling Concert.
