Have you ever visited our museum? Well now is your chance! We’re a part of the 2018 Cultural Pass presented by Churchill Downs, a one-of-a-kind program for children of all ages that supports and encourages lifelong learning by providing access to Louisville’s art and cultural institutions. Presented by Churchill Downs in partnership with Metro Louisville, Fund for the Arts, Arts and Culture Alliance, and the Louisville Free Public Library, use the pass at 45 venues for FREE admission. Is your business Autism friendly? Today, employees at APH attended an accessibility meeting as part of an accessible city initiative with KMAC. Today’s topic was autism accessibility. Speakers from KMAC Museum, FEAT - Families for Effective Autism Treatment of Louisville, Kentucky Science Center, The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, and Kentucky Autism Training Center discussed ways to make organizations and businesses more accessible for people with autism. During the meeting, attendees learned ways to make their organizations/attractions more accessible for people with autism.
