Crazy Beautiful inc Changing the Face of Fitness
My name is Crystal Tipton.....some call me Crystal "the body" Tipton. My life came from humble beginnings.....my father a teahcer and coach and my mother a stay at home mom.....a brother my parents graciously adopted gave me a complete family....where all my needs were met and most of what I wanted I had......my parents instilled amazing values in me.....the most important were faith , family, hard work, and fitness.......
At the age of 15 , my dad , brother and his two friends were in a tragic car accident that almost took my life......I suffered many injuries one of which almost left me paralyzed. My basketball career was ended, my dad didn't know who I was when he first woke up from his coma and his head injuries left him with most of my childhood wiped from his memory.....a daddy's girl , I was saddened but knew that I had to take all he had ever taught me and fight back with everything within me. I had to learn how to roll over, sit up, walk all over again at the age of 15.......the core values my parents instilled in me rang loud each day and God's still voice was ever constant in whispering you have been given a second chance....you will defy the odds, you will be a force for good, you will lead, you will help others and you will be a mother......this was my saving grace and although I have been down many beaten paths since then ......
it is this place within my soul that left a forever imprint on my life that I call home....at the age of39 , two kids , failed marriages, and the loss of a life I loved , worked hard for, and fought hard to build was coming to an end....crumbling before my eyes and this time.....despite ALL I had been through I couldn't pulll myself up it seemed....heallth issues and weight problems on top of it all plagued my life....left me wondering what in the world was happening....and had I failed God.....had I lost the "inner strentgh" to survive ..????
The never ending will to give up and throw in the towel...the I would rather die trying than to wonder what if .....led me to dig in my heals and take the leaps of faith God was calling me to take.....In these last few years my life has been totally transformed and as one of my coaches said....."everything you have done up till now has been practice" rings so true each day I wake up....It is truly never too late for you to create a new story.....that is where Crazy Beautiful Inc was born Long before I knew my life would be thrusted into this direction God placed many key people into my life....and one by one my life in every area was transformed.....
Before the final pillars of a life I had built were torn down....a man came along and coined me Crazy Beautifull.....a joke through texting at the time......became Gods second hint of a life He had planned.....

facebook.comSlow Cooker Spiced Chicken and Sweet Potato One of the best secrets to consistently eating for fat loss is to utilize a slow cooker to create wholesome, homemade meals. Slow cooker meals are incredibly simple to make, since all you do is get everything into the pot in the morning. When you get home it smells delicious and dinner is hot and ready to be eaten! Chicken and sweet potato make a winning combination in this almost-too-tasty slow cooker meal. By utilizing bold seasoning and fresh salsa, flavor is infused into every tender morsel. Meals like this one are the building blocks of a solid, long-term nutrition plan. Lucky for us it tastes amazing! Servings: 8 Here’s what you need Olive oil spray 3 lbs skinless, bone-in chicken thighs 2 teaspoons ground cumin, divided salt and pepper 1 teaspoon smoked paprika ½ teaspoon ground allspice 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup salsa, divided 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 large sweet potato, peeled, halved lengthwise and sliced into 1 inch pieces 2 red bell peppers, seeded and cut into 1 inch by ½ inch strips 1 Tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced for garnish Instructions Rinse the chicken thighs and pat dry. Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon ground cumin, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly spray with olive oil. Add the chicken thighs and cook until well browned on all sides, about 10 minutes. Transfer the chicken to plate. Remove the skillet from heat. In same skillet, combine the smoked paprika, allspice, chicken broth, ½ cup of the salsa, garlic, and remaining 1½ teaspoons cumin. In a slow cooker, combine the sweet potatoes and red pepper strips. Generously season with salt and pepper. Place the chicken thighs on top of the sweet potato mixture and pour the broth mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Transfer the cooked chicken pieces from the slow cooker to a large plate. Remove the bones and shred the meat. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the sweet potato and red pepper mixture from the slow cooker and onto a serving platter. Top with the shredded meat and the remaining salsa. Garnish with cilantro.
