The State Theatre
Description
The State Theatre hosts local musicians, touring bands, comedians, and theatrical performances. We are working to restore and preserve this downtown gem. Located in the heart of downtown’s Arts District, the State is a premiere performing arts venue, hosting live concerts, comedians, and theatrical productions. The theatre opened in the early 1940s and was converted to a two-screen cinema in the early 1970s.
We are working hard to restore the theatre to it 1940s grandeur, and are committed to preserving the theatre for the enjoyment of future generations.
The theatre is also available for rent by the hour or by the day for receptions, band rehearsal and recording, dance and exercise instruction, business meetings, parties, and more.

Logansport shined statewide tonight! The dust is still settling on the amazing Concert for Abby & Libby, with live coverage from three networks! We will know in the next couple days exactly how much was raised, but we are almost definitely looking at five figures! And we're prepping for another show in just 17 hours! Saturday night, we host the Betties and the Beards Comedy Show: 4 comedians for just $10! Remember, your continuing support allows us to provide quality entertainment, benefits and experiences that paint Logansport in a positive light. Come laugh with us (and swing by starting at 2 p.m. to help us finish sprucing up the place)!

A Concert for Abby & Libby, tonight at 7! Online ticket sales end at 5:30. After that, the box office opens at 6 p.m. for the remaining seats. Some $10 standing-room only tickets will be available once seats are sold out as well!
