Sidewalk update....we do understand that the sidewalk situation is not ideal but the sidewalk plow is having mechanical issues. There is a mechanic working on it, but the machine is roughly 13 years old. On last update, we were waiting on parts. The Public Works crew is doing the best they can removing snow with loaders and dump trucks but this process takes much longer. Thank you to the Public Works crew for doing your best in this tough situation. Thank you for your understanding.

Dog licenses expire on December 31st. Don't forget to come see us this week to license your dogs. We will be closed on New Year's Day.

We were lucky to have a visit from the Sheriff on Thursday.
The Transfer Station will be closing at noon on December 24th (Christmas Eve) and will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Here is the transfer station’s brochure that explains what can be recycled. The Lincoln Town Office will be closing at 12:00 pm Friday December 22nd and closed all day Monday December 25th. The Lincoln Transfer Station will be closing 12:00pm Sunday December 24th and will be closed Monday December 25th. The Lincoln Memorial Library will be open 10am-2pm on Friday December 22nd and closed all day Monday December 25th. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Congratulations, Town of Lincoln Economic Development Committee! On 12/18/2017, the Lincoln Economic Development Committee won Eastern Maine Development Corporation's Horizon Award. The award recognizes recipients who are dedicated to Eastern Maine and who work to promote economic growth in the region. Pictured are Angela Belk, Ruth E Birtz, Denise Desaulniers-Kusnierz, and William Davis - all of whom volunteer on behalf of the town and community. In total, there have been approximately 30 community and business members who have volunteered on the committee since its establishment in 2014.
