Equipped with heating and air conditioning, exterior mirrored windows, scenic views of the bike trails and FireWorks’ very own rain garden. Meet Turner. Our Assistant General Manager at Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - Haymarket and our Lazlo, Inc. 2017 Manager of the Year. Turner Vannatta leads through example by showcasing our company core values on a daily basis. As a valued member of our team, Turner exhibits strong moral conviction, integrity and pride when interacting with staff and customers alike and his strong leadership skills kept the team rolling through numerous challenging situations. Turner lives in the restaurant, so we decided to take his photo outside of the restaurant. Please give Turner a “Congrats” when you see him, he really deserves this! Turner, thank you for everything.

Meet Robert. Robert started with us over a year ago and, while he didn’t have a lot of work experience in the kitchen, he began in a more hectic role as a prep cook. There was hesitancy at first but with some encouragement he soon fell into his groove. After excelling at this, he took on new positions on the grill, salads and sauté stations. Robert is one of the hardest workers we have seen and really did start from the bottom and learn everything from scratch proving there is no task too big for him. He is a very kind, caring and loyal employee who, everyday, challenges his peers to get better through his own actions and how hard he works. Waln is truly one of a kind and has a very bright future in this industry and in our company. Robert, thank you for everything.

THROWBACK DISH: ROASTED POTATO PIZZA This #ThrowbackThursday, we are bringing back a wood-fired dish from the JaBriSco recipe book; The Roasted Potato Pizza. This pizza has a garlic butter base and is topped with rosemary roasted potatoes, shredded mozzarella and crumbled gorgonzola and cooked in our signature wood-fired oven. Sometimes, simple really does taste better. Stay Tuned!
