Davidson County Historical Museum — Secure

The Museum is Opening the “Vault”! The Permanent Collection Database is going online April 14. ~~~ Virtual accessibility to artifacts beyond exhibits is becoming the new standard for museums, and the Davidson County Historical Museum is keeping up with the times! On Friday, visit our new website to get a peek behind the scenes. Go to www.davidsoncountyhistoricalmuseum.com to search and browse almost 12,000 catalog records with photographs and descriptions of artifacts, images and archival materials. About 50% of the collection will be online, with more added every week. We launched www.hleewaters-photography.com three years ago, and know Virtual Access is an exciting, efficient way to provide new opportunities for our growing audience, creates a powerful marketing tool, and supports our local tourism economy. Davidson County’s Information Technology Department cited the Museum’s use of technology as a contributing factor in the county's most recent national award from “Top Digital Counties.”
