Help us celebrate a successful 10th year of the Snack Sack Ministry with our annual Peanut Butter Jelly Pizza party May 17th at 5:30. Come dance, play, eat pizza, and pack the last snack sacks of the 2016-2017 school year. This is a church wide event (and there will not be a nursery). A Pizza dinner is available (includes pizza, fruit, drink and dessert) for $3/adult and $2/child. Please RSVP for dinner to katie@lexumcsc.com or use the link: https://goo.gl/forms/WlGvIm2sEXJHLVAv1. Snack Sacks needs donations of peanut butter and jelly (both in plastic containers) BEFORE May 17 so they can be packed at the party.

TODAY WE GIVE TO THE EPWORTH MOTHER’S DAY OFFERING! Today our church will receive the Annual Epworth Mother’s Day Offering to provide loving care for the children at Epworth Children's Home. Please find information about Epworth and the Mother’s Day Offering on the bulletin insert. Epworth does not receive denominational funding (apportionments). This offering is our opportunity to support this vital ministry. Give generously by using the envelope provided for you in the bulletin. For more information about Epworth Children's Home, visit them on the web at www.epworthchildrenshome.org where you can choose to make a secure credit card donation or enroll for monthly contributions.

We want to take our BreakOut 4th and 5th graders out for a Party!! They have been such a great group. I will miss our 5th graders as they “graduate” to Youth. Parents are responsible for transportation. We will meet at JC’s Bowling Alley. RSVP as soon as possible to join in the fun (BEFORE May 14)! I am also looking for a few more volunteers to help with the party if you are able.

DON’T FORGET YOUR MOTHERS OR EPWORTH CHILDREN'S HOME NEXT SUNDAY! Next week is Mother’s Day. Most of the children at Epworth Children's Home will not be celebrating Mother’s Day with their mothers. Instead, they will be surrounded by loving staff and volunteers who walk with them daily to provide spiritual, educational, emotional and physical support. Consider what God is calling you to give to support our church’s ministry to children. Your generous contribution to our church’s ministry enables transformation to happen for the children who call Epworth home. Epworth does not receive denominational funding (apportionments).
