FAMILY OF GOD, Wanted to let everyone know that Jeremiah Smith had a mini-stroke and is stable, going thru testing at Children's hospital. Also, Linda Lamb is at St. Mary's hospital with a blood clot in her lung. Please pray for both situation, their well being and their families. Thanks. PC

McCombs Family Yard Sale

The McCombs family is having a Yard sale this FRIDAY - May 26 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. We have a lot of stuff from the move last summer that we need to get rid of. It is not junk. We have a variety of things from some minor furnishing, to pictures, to all kinds of household items, some minor tools to includ a wheel barrel, to nice kids clothing (girls dresses of vaiours sizes)....and much more! Worth stopping by to say hi and perhaps find something you like. ITEMS: Girls Dresses Size 6-12 and other clothing. Variety of Children Costumes, household items, rugs, shelves, toys and misc. selection of items. Please plan on stopping by.

Following the Ribbon Cutting at 9:45 a.m. we will have a church work day. Things to accomplish: 1. Clean every room and hallway. The rennovations may be mostly done, but that leaves so much to clean. We will wipe down every window, window seal, all the trim, baseboard, and annotate anything missed in the rooms. 2. Thoroughly clean the hallway floors so they can be maintained. 3. A team is doing lighting in the Sanctuary. 4. A team is doing siding on the Education wing. 5. Volunteers needs to spread mulch and weed around the entire church building. We hope you can come. Bring tools to assist with outside work. Label them. Bring cleaning supply - buckets, scrub brushed, paper towels, windex, clean rags etc. Thank you and God bless you!

Ribbon Cutting - Breakfast/Workday

Family of God join us this Saturady - 5 - 20 - 2017 - Armed Forces Day for a prayer breakfast followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony. Prayer breakfast is hosted by the mens ministry of our church. We will pray and eat at 8:45 a.m. We will have a time of Armed Forces recognition and prayer time. Then at 9:45 a.m. we will gather in the Foyer of the church to have the ribbon cutting ceremony. We will recognize the volunteers and contractors, have a prayer, and then cut the ribbon. Please note that all the rennovation are not completely done. But we are in the final stages. We are waiting on the doors and some finishing touches of paint and minor things we may have missed. We can be proud of what we have done. Thankful for the quarter of a million dollar investment into our infrastructure for the Kingdom of God to continue to thrive as a church. Give God some glory and show up Saturday.

Come join us for Worship @ 10 a.m. at LPBC this Sunday. We will honor all mothers. The service will have baptisms, worship, music, prayer, celebration, preaching, recognition of mothers and response time for the congregation.
